Thanks for taking the time to visit my website. My name is Ben Kueng and I am a full-time, year round Wisconsin fishing guide and Charter Captain running fishing trips 7 days a week, 365 days a year. I bring over 25 years of multi-species angling experience as well as proven techniques and patterns that ensure a productive trip for my clients no matter what the season. From jumbo perch on Lake Michigan to 40lb muskies on the Bay of Green bay, and everything in between, Ben Kueng’s Guide Service has you covered.
I specialize in guided fishing trips and charters for trophy musky, pike, brown trout, steelhead, lake trout, bass, walleye, and pretty much everything else that swims in the lakes, streams and rivers of Southern Wisconsin. A majority of my trips during the open water game fish season are for musky, but I do not limit myself to one particular species or body of water. I am on the water everyday regardless of if I have clients or not to ensure that my customers are on the best possible bite. I learned early on that a successful business is built on repeat clients and my dedication to showing my customers a good time as well as putting them on fish is what’s made me one of the largest and most successful guide services in the state of Wisconsin. Putting my clients on fish is my job and that’s exactly what I do!
I am a full-time guide and charter captain available for trips 7 days a week, 365 days a year. I guide all major holidays and throughout the winter on the ice or from my boat in the rivers/harbors that stay open year round. There is always a hot bite going in Southern WI no matter what time of the year it is!
I can accommodate large groups or corporate outings and am also available for seminars and speaking events.

New for 2012
When the lakes freeze and most anglers around Milwaukee are restricted to ice fishing, I will be running trips 7 days a week from my 19’ Ice Ranger. With a reinforced , 350 Chevy crate engine and a 3/8” polymer bottom this boat is designed to travel on any surface. In most cases we will be traveling on the ice to reach open water, but I will also use the air boat on the Wisconsin river, Fox River and Rock River to access frozen areas that are unreachable by other ice fisherman. January and February are the best times to be fishing open water, warm water discharges out of the Milwaukee harbor and Fox River, Green bay, or early/late ice opportunities for monster panfish, walleyes and Brown trout.

New for 2011/12 I will be running a custom built 17’ flat bottom with a 27hp Beavertail mud motor. This boat is 3 times the thickness of your typical river boat, has a 3/8” Kevlar/polymer coating on the bottom which makes it virtually indestructible and is very stable to fish from with 3 people. I will be offering drift trips along the Fox River, Crawfish River, Rock River, Wisconsin River, Mississippi River and many other tributaries across Waukesha, Milwaukee, Dane, Jefferson and Rock County.
If you’re looking to get away from the crowds and experience a whole new style of fishing, a drift trip on my river boat may be just what you’re looking for. A majority of the rivers that I fish are within a half hour of Milwaukee, or 2 hours from Chicago.
